More of Our Work
"A steady increase in email and mobile telephone usage has impacted enterprise telephone system usage. An analysis of corporate telephone bills (landlines) over the last five (5) years revealed calls placed over the enterprise telephone systems have decreased by approximately 20%. The cost of business telephone lines has increased by 47% in the same time period." Community Consolidated School District 59 wanted to upgrade its telephone system from ShoreTel (now Mitel Connect) to a hosted system serving its 14 locations. Wilson Consulting audited the District's current system and services to assist with this transition. We interviewed selected staff from the District and prepared a Request for Proposal for the new system.
After evaluating proposals from various vendors to replace the ShoreTel system, Wilson Consulting presented a recommendation to the Board. The offer was based on the proposed system's ability to meet the evaluation criteria that Wilson Consulting and the District jointly developed.
The City of Lake Forest enlisted Wilson Consulting to comprehensively audit its telephone services and related expenses. Our objective was to optimize the City's spending on telecommunication services. During the audit, we identified incorrectly billed services and opportunities to disconnect unnecessary services. We filed disputes with the telephone company on behalf of the City, resulting in over $40,000 in credits.
